Who's behind the tin

A pro bettor's tools, given away

Mispriced FC is run by a professional bettor. You won't see a face, and that's on purpose. Here's who, why, and what you're actually getting.

Who

Betting on football has been my full-time focus for years, at a volume that runs to seven figures of turnover a year (turnover is the total staked, not profit). Doing that properly meant building my own tools: software that prices player markets from each starter's record, checks every UK bookmaker's price against it, and flags the ones that are wrong.

Why anonymous

I bet big, with a tin built up over years, and someone betting at that size is easy to find once there's a face to go with it. I also run other businesses in real life and keep my betting completely separate from them. So the gaffer and his tin front it. You don't need to trust a face: the method is written down on how it works, and every pick is on the record, time-stamped before kick-off, losses included.

Why give it away

The tools run every day for my own betting anyway. Publishing what they find, free for now, builds a public record that anyone can check, and it shows a better way to bet than tips and hunches: led by price, controlled unit stakes, no chasing.

How to think about it

No edge, no bet. I don't bet for the sake of it: only when the price gives me the edge, the way a casino only offers games where the odds favour the house. The difference is that a casino knows its edge exactly; ours is an estimate, and the record is how it gets tested.

It works more like trading than tipping. We look for prices that are wrong, take them at controlled unit stakes, and judge the results over hundreds of bets rather than one weekend. A good price can still lose, and losing runs happen. Unlike shares, every bet can lose its whole stake, so the tin rules matter more than any single pick.

Please read this bit. Past results are no promise of future ones, and most people who bet lose over time. Don't treat betting as a way to make money or replace income, only ever bet what you can afford to lose, and if the rules get hard to stick to, stop. What we'll never do

  • Message you first, ask you to send money by bank transfer, crypto or DM, or ask for bookmaker logins. If we ever offer a paid membership, it will only be through checkout on mispricedfc.com. Anyone asking any other way isn't us.
  • Take money from bookmakers, post affiliate links or push sign-up bonuses.
  • Delete a losing pick or move the goalposts after kick-off.
