Who runs Mispriced FC?
A professional bettor. Betting on football has been my full-time focus for years, at a volume that runs to seven figures of turnover a year (turnover is the total staked, not profit). Over that time I built my own software to price player markets and find the bookmakers' mistakes.
Mispriced FC is where those tools now point their findings in public. More on the about page.
Why don't you show your face?
Two reasons. I bet big, with a tin built up over years, and at those stakes a face makes someone very easy to find. And I run other businesses in real life and keep betting completely separate from them. So the gaffer and his tin do the talking. What you can check is the method and the record, which are both public.
Why give it away?
The tools already run every day for my own betting. Publishing what they find costs me little, it builds a public, time-stamped record, and it gives people a sensible way to bet: price-led, controlled unit stakes, no chasing. It's free for now.
Do you guarantee a profit?
No. Nobody can. A price can be wrong in our favour and still lose, and losing runs happen. The aim is to take better prices than the bookies should be offering, over hundreds of bets. Past results are no promise of future ones, and most people who bet lose over time.
Please don't treat betting as a way to make money or replace income.
What does “positive EV” mean?
Expected value. If a player's record says he hits a line 90% of the time, the fair price is about 1/9. If a bookie offers 1/4, the price is better than the chance deserves: positive EV. Any single bet can still lose, but over many bets the gap between price and chance is what matters.
Is it like trading?
In one way: we look for prices that are wrong, take them at controlled unit stakes, and judge the results over hundreds of bets, not one weekend. In the important way, no: every bet can lose its whole stake, so the rules matter more than any single pick. See the tin rules.
Which bookmakers do you use?
Whichever UK book has the best price, named in every post. Only bet365 gives your stake back if the player doesn't start. At every other book, if he's not in the XI, cash out in full before kick-off. We post the team news under every early pick.
The price has gone. What now?
Leave it. Never take a worse price than the one posted. If it's gone, it's gone: the next one will come along.
How do I know the record is real?
Every pick goes out on Telegram before kick-off with the price, the book and the time, so the time stamp is public. Results are settled from the official match stats, corrections are shown, and nothing is deleted. The full list is on the record page.
Will you ever message me or ask for money?
We never DM first, never ask you to send money by bank transfer, crypto or DM, never ask for card details or bookmaker logins, and never sell “fixed” anything.
If we ever offer a paid membership, it will only be through checkout on mispricedfc.com, never through a message. Anyone asking any other way is a scammer using our name: block and report them.
Are you paid by bookmakers?
No. No affiliate links, no sign-up bonuses, no deals with any bookmaker.
How do I stop the emails?
One click on “unsubscribe” at the bottom of any email. If betting has stopped being fun, please read the safer gambling page.
